This is one of our selection of 108 inch wide fabrics and the important word in that phrase is FABRIC!!!. 108 inch wide fabric is just that people, FABRIC, good for everything from quilts to table runners to bags to clothes. But what do we use it for, almost exclusively - QUILT BACKS. Well I am here to tell you that not only is it good for a lot of other things, it is also an inexpensive alternative to other fabrics, and think of making borders and bindings with 108 inch strips. You could bind a twin size (72x90=324 sq inches) with three strips (108X3=324 sq inches). Nancy, my quilt/math teacher would be so proud of me, I am actually doing math.
At 9.99 a yard 3 yards (4860 sq. inches) of 45 inch wide fabric will cost 29.97. At 15.00 per yard, 1.25 yards (4860 sq. inches) of 108 inch wide fabric will cost 18.75. And you don't even need to do the math!
Just so you can buy 3, 45 inch wide yards if you wish, we are selling this fine fabric in 1/4 yard increments. You will need to buy 5, 1/4 yards to equal 3 yards.
